Forskolin Fuel is a weight loss supplement that is only available online and, although customer support contact telephone numbers are available for several major destinations (including the UK) all orders are shipped from the USA.
According to the Forskolin Fuel website the capsules are “proudly made in the USA”, but the company that funds the production process— Santrinico Enterprises—is based in Cyprus. The company appears to have been trading since 2002, and markets a number of other weight loss and health and beauty products, but several customers have lodged complaints about the company after they were landed with unexpected bills due the company's automated billing and reordering system.

What is Forskolin Fuel and how does it Work?
Forskolin Fuel is a supplement designed to capture the weight loss enhancing abilities of forskolin, speed up the metabolism, and regulate hormones that are believed to be linked to weight loss.
Santrinico Enterprises fails to provide a full list of ingredients. The formulation apparently provides 125 mg of coleus forskohlii (per serving), and it is known to be a powerful weight loss provider, but if its abilities are weakened by the addition of unknown ingredients it may fail to perform in the desired manner.
- Coleus Forskohlii is a plant extract that is believed to activate and enzyme called adenylate cyclase. This, in turn, activates lipoproteins that have the power to break-down fats when they enter the body. This means that rather than contribute to weight gain, the fats are used as fuel. Coleus Forskohlii is also considered an effective metabolism booster, but for best results most experts agree it should be used alongside a healthy diet and regular exercise.
In one 12-week study, published in Obesity, 15 obese males were given 250 mg of 10% forskolin extract twice each day. By the end of the study period the BMI of the 15 men had reduced significantly more than that of the 15 men in the placebo group.
A more recent study (2014) was conducted at the Sree Siddaganga College of Pharmacy (India) and was equally supportive of coleus forskohilii's weight loss enhancing abilities. This time the study subjects were obese laboratory rats and the scientists finally concluded:
“The observed effects validate that supplementation of CFE [coleus forskohilii] with cafeteria diet could curb the appetite and mitigate the development of dyslipidemia.”
[box type=”info” align=”” class=”” width=””]How to Take Forskolin Fuel – The official website does not contain any information about the dosage required. A statement on their FAQs page reads: “Once you receive the product, you will be able to read the recommended dosage on the product.”[/box]
The Forskolin Fuel website appears to contain a few video testimonials by “real people” who got “real results”, but any site visitor who attempts to play the videos will be unable to do so because what appear to be embedded players are actually just JPEG images.
Independent feedback is hard to find and does not suggest a diet product that works:

Potential Side Effects
A lengthy warning on the Forskolin Fuel website's terms and conditions pages could be summed up in a few simple words—don’t take Forskolin Fuel without discussing the matter with your GP first. Anyone that does so will be deemed to have been “diagnosing for him or herself” and the company will not be held responsible.
According to the Forskolin Fuel website a “100% satisfaction guarantee” is in place, but the terms and conditions page states customers have 90 days to return unopened products. No refund is offered for opened bottles. That means that customers who try the product have to buy the product—that's not a guarantee at all. It's a returns policy.
Purchasing Options & Considerations
Forskolin Fuel can only be purchased from the official website, but the site is designed in a way that makes it unusually hard to find out how much the product costs. The only way to find out the price is to enter all contact details (including email and telephone) into the online form provided on the homepage. Once these details have been entered the price is revealed on the checkout page, and the order has already been partially filled out for the most expensive option—3 bottles of pills (+ 2 free bottles) for $144 (£96). A single bottle (the “sampler package”) costs $48 (£32) and shipping is extra.
Close inspection of the sites terms and conditions suggests customers may be automatically enrolled into an automatic billing and re-ordering schedule without their knowledge. It also states any unpaid bills will be referred to a collection agency and mentions additional charges. A number of customer complaint sites including Ripoff Report show complaints left by customers who have purchased products from Santrinico Enterprises, or accepted an offer of a free trial, and then been contacted by a collection agency called GSM Collections about unpaid bills. GSM Collections is owned by Santrinico Enterprises Ltd.
The terms and conditions page also states customers who purchase Forskolin Fuel agree that they accept an “arbitration agreement” that prevents them from taking court action against the company. Whether such an agreement, hidden on a page that most customers will not read, would be legally binding is highly disputable.

Although Forskolin as an ingredient is one of the better weight loss ingredients our preference and recommendation is to look elsewhere.
We recommend products based on their effect, safety and customer response – we have compiled our list of recommended diet pills based on the above criteria.
